We Need Your Dusty/Rusty Bike!!! The Trips for Kids ReCyclery is looking to help you clean out your garage. Our mission to give old bikes a new life is doing well. Along with our Earn a Bike program, our successful re-sale program is taking a toll on our inventory. Proceeds from our sales directly support our outreach programs… to give kids from Charlotte’s fragile neighborhoods an opportunity to “Earn a Bike”; to provide mountain biking experiences for these same children at Col Beatty and Fisher Farm Parks; and most recently, provided needed parts and bike maintenance to the bikes of ten men at Urban Ministries who needed better conditioned bicycles to get to their jobs.
Please visit our website to get a full picture of what we do to connect our community. Bikes may be dropped off at Harry & Sandy Johnson’s home at 6827 Rosemary Lane, Charlotte, NC.
Trips for Kids-Charlotte is a qualified 501(c)3 non profit, and all donations are tax deductable.
