Our History

Originally known as Living Simply, the company was founded in 2004 by Carson Tate. Laurie Martin began working for Living Simply in 2006 and eventually took over the company, renaming it Simplicity Organizers in 2010.

The original team of four has expanded to 15 talented and skilled organizers.  Simplicity has organically grown to one of the largest non-franchised companies in the nation.

Meet Our Owner

To Laurie Martin, sharing the pathway to effective and efficient organizing is a passion. Through workshops and one-on-one sessions, Laurie seeks to calm chaotic homes and stressful lives by helping her clients articulate and focus on what matters most…in a word, simplifying. Laurie specializes in creating organizational strategies and designing systems tailor made for individuals and families.

Laurie is a chapter member of NAPO-NC and a Golden Circle Member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).
